writing journal hiwi the kiwi writing how to fish for the future
Purpose to explain
Audience hiwi the kiwi
Plan in my book introduction
Fishing for the future is important because…
Going fishing will be fun and you can enjoy eating them. Also children will love eating
But before you go fishing you must remember these rules because around new zealand people have been drowning and have been catching fish, snapper that have birth and are too big or too small.

Para 1 safety on the water
Firstly when you are on any boat and you are doing fishing you must and should remember to protect yourself by having a life jacket on even on children. The reason why you should and must, must wear a life jacket because what if your boat crashed into something on the water and your boat sank you are safe because you have a life jacket on but in new zealand some people throw there life jackets on the side of the boat and when the boat sank with a crash and those people drowned in the water. There are many newses around new zealand about people and kids drowned in the water.

Para 2 seabirds
Do you know black petrols are nearly gone (extinct). They are nearly extinct because when they see plastic in the water they think it is food and when they swallow that little or big piece of plastic they will die on the same day or after a few days. It happens the same with the seabirds but the other thing that they get catched often too
Monday 13 may 2019 and tuesday 14 may
Para 3 catching fish/taking fish
When you are fishing on a boat or any other species of boat e.g canoe, sailboat, ships and you catched a snapper at least it should be 30 cm at least. When you catch a snapper you should also remember that you should have a ruler that is up to 30cm. To measure a snapper you should measure it from the tail to the nose. If you are taking the fish home you should put the fish on salted ice to make the fresh and and will be good to eat. When you catch a big fish put it back in to the water because it has babies (breeding).
